Donatos Pizza

I didn’t like the pizza and didn’t eat it after I tried a small piece. I had to repeat my order twice when ordering and they still didn’t make it right. It was also expensive and did not notify us of the price change. With a good attitude, we returned the pizza. We had also ordered drinks and calzone and only meant for a refund for JUST the pizza by Itself. They went above and beyond and refunded the entire order!! I told them they didn’t need to do that. I was more than ok with paying for what we ate. They were nice about it. So I am giving them 5 stars for respect. Personally, it’s not for me, but everyone has different things they like.

As an Ohio native, we were thrilled to discover the Rocket City had Donatos. This place is our favorite when we want good pizza. They have a great selection of different pizzas. The quality and consistency is always excellent and they are always very generous with the toppings. Our go to is the Founders Favorite. The Mariachi and Hawaiian are also at the top of our list. The subs are tasty as well. If you like an Italian sub, try the Big Don.

This place is by far the best tasting pizza I have tried! The flavor! The light crunch and oven baked crust on the thin crust pizza is soooo good! The cheese is perfect! The tons of little pepperonis on the pizza have sooo much flavor that it tantalizes your taste buds with every bite! We shared a large and it was perfect for us! Of course we stuffed ourselves! We ordered cinnamon bread and took it to go! The place was clean and plenty of tables to be seated at. It wasn't crowded. The atmosphere was good with soft music playing in the background. There is a TV to watch as well. The food came plated very well with disposable plates. The guy we ordered from at the counter brought us our pizza as well as our cinnamon bread. Normally they call you to the counter but he brought ours to us. He was very courteous. I live an hour almost from this place and I will travel every time just to get this pizza! Once you get a taste you will come back every time to this place! The oven baked crust is sensational! I just can't say enough about this place. There isn't enough time or room on this review to give it the review it deserves! Thanks Donatos for a perfect date night again! Update: Just had another great meal here at Donatos! 100 pepperoni pizza with asagio cheese bread! Scrumptious!

This particular location was my first so I chose to eat in. The decor is simple almost like a small diner. The associate who took my order was courteous and professional. I got the 12" classic pepperoni with extra cheese. Took about 15 minutes but I gotta tell you... It was worth it!! Pizza was fresh and hot ( burned my tongue)... Lots of sauce and the crust was spot on...I ate the whole thing, y'all if you haven't tried them before then head over and get your next cheesy pie at Donato's. Give me a like if you like them and have a good day!

I just had the best experience at Donatos!! The employee working today 1.7.26 that took my order and brought me my pizza was TOP TIER customer service experience!! I made a mistake and didn’t get his name but he has set the standard for my 2026 year!! The pizza was also amazing !!

"EXTREMELY PLEASED!" On Friday, December 27, 2024, I decided to try a pizza at Donatos Pizza in Madison, Alabama. That was my first visit there. When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised to find that there were no huge menus hanging at or behind the order desk. But, when I approached it, there was a small menu there ... and a large sign with instructions to scan the very large barcode for a menu (if you preferred). The restaurant's decor was modern, minimal, and spacious (for a fairly small restaurant). It was clean, and the staff were very polite and attentive. After an initial minor blip, I received my pizza in a timely fashion. That night, I chose to order their "Serious Meats" pizza, which is topped with pepperoni, sausage, shaved ham, ground beef, hardwood smoked bacon, smoked Provolone cheese, and Romano cheese. And, I requested it in a medium size, with a thin crust. Overall, I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with my first experience at Donatos in Madison. The pizza was DELICIOUS! I'm visiting in the area for my job. I placed a pick up order for a pizza and it was ready at the time that was indicated. The pizza had plentiful, fresh toppings and a good flavor. Quite pleased overall.

Edge to edge toppings on your pizza is a great way to serve delicious pizza. We love the founders large pizza. Easy access in Madison. The restaurant was kind of cold but we were some of the first people that day. I love the taste of their pizza.
